Good morning, campers! I’m sitting in a Travelodge near Fisherman’s Wharf, sucking up free wireless and trying to figure out how I’ll stumble through the day on only a few hours sleep. (We pulled into San Fran at about 4 a.m.)
Kevin Drum was nice enough to host a blogger party at his home yesterday, and we got to meet some of the L.A. Blog Mafia (including Bob Harris who’s been on Jeopardy FIVE TIMES; Elton Beard of Busy Busy Busy ; Commie Girl (Rebecca Schoenkopf from the OC Weekly), Mark Kleiman of, you know, Mark Kleiman ; Marc Danziger of Armed Liberal ; Steve of Steveaudio ; and Arianna Huffington .
I also met Kevin’s heavily-blogged cats and his lovely wife Marian, a compulsive quiltmaker who also makes a mean corn salad.
