DAY 1:
Board
shuttle bus at 08:00 hrs to the border town of Namanga where you will
clear customs and immigration formalities. Proceed into Tanzania to Arusha
town. On arrival you will be dropped at your hotel for overnight.
DAY 2: LAKE
MANYARA .
Depart
from Arusha at 09:30hrs for Lake Manyara arriving in good time for lunch.
After Lunch explore Lake Manyara National Park which covers an area of
only 318 sq km its terrain is so diverse that its mammal and bird lists
are most impressive. The park includes much of Lake Manyara, some 60 km
(38 miles) long as well as the Rift Valley escarpment.
The park
is well known for its tree climbing lions which can be found lazing on
branches of the acacia trees. In addition there are good numbers of elephants,
big herd of buffalo and plenty of leopard. The lake is a favorite place
