The Incredibles.…One Pretty Cool Movie!
Earlier today I visited Disney Studios in Burbank, CA and attended a Diabeties Research Institute (DRI) fundraiser which included a preview screening of the new Pixar movie, “The Incredibles.”
I will be very surprised if the movie doesn’t do real well for Pixar. The story content starts off like many other animated kids movies and somewhere in the middle takes the feel of an old James Bond flick. Hard to explain what this means in between the super hero antics but if/when you see the movie you will know what I mean. This isn’t like many other animated kids movies that I have seen in the past. Both of my kids enjoyed the movie as well.
John Ratzenberger who attended our DRI Charity Poker event during VON in Boston a couple of weeks ago was in attendance and was one of the people who contributed to the success of DRI’s event today. After the film screening, during DRI’s “silent auction” I had my own “Quantum Leap” moment when I saw Scott Bakula bidding on some of the silent auction items.
It was great to see so many people turn out for DRI’s event in California.
