Maybe Steve Rubel didn't intend to set things up this way ... But when the uber-blogger posted this challenge on his Micro Persuasion blog, I just had to find out how influential this micro-media can be. According to a CNBC poll Steve tapped sometime before 4:30 pm (EST) on Tuesday, November 15; 70% of those responding said Podcasting is "a passing fad." A total of 163 votes had been cast. At least five hours later, the margin of victory for the "Passing Fad" party has become nearly Al Gore-like, with only 51% of the vote - meaning "Important New Business Tool" wins on the electoral vote count!
