Good Afternoon, Fellow Seekers. We're burning the ... umm ... midday oil here at Capitol Ideas World HQ , looking for some new word on where things stand on budget negotiations. The Capitol is mostly empty and silent, save for some stray state employees, a few tourists and expectant rows of white folding chairs that sit in anticipation of a wedding in the Main Rotunda . So before we go off and start the weekend (officially), we figured we'd offer you a quick summation of today's budget-related headlines.
