Sometimes the urge to say it is almost overwhelming. Twice the past couple of weeks I have wanted to whip out an email to someone and say something to that effect but I’ve, so far, managed not to do it. I won’t lie, resisting the urge was tough.
The first instance had to do with a situation I’m not completely comfortable writing about in a public forum. The last conversation I had with someone very dear to me had to do with me being called a liar, and then one of the reasons I had been called a liar coming hard down upon my head. I so badly wanted to write and say, “You still think I’m lying? I told you this was going to happen.”
And then today, Sarah Palin resigns from office. In the words of Scalzi, “Bwuh?” . I keep hearkening back to a conversation we had while I was in Phoen"
