You look around, checking out the room’s dozen or so functionaries and notice something odd: the higher up in the hierarchy a person is, the more he resembles Werner. You’re thinking it’s Probably yet another of the insidious effects of long-term exposure to the whole est cult. Then you catch yourseif. You're pre-judging, aren't you?
