I am blogging again

I have decided to stop blogging on ebpml. Last June, my
team was laid off after the merger between Attachmate and WRQ. I have since
joined one of the big 4 software vendors and I feel this activity is
incompatible with my new position. I really enjoyed contributing to the
knowledge of the community and often got touching feedback from some of its members.
I got acquainted with a lot of you and was happy to support innovative companies such
as FiveSight, MomentumSoftware or Collaxa.
Over the years I have expressed sadness that:
Concepts, technologies and specifications in the
fields of B2B, BPM, SOA or Composite Applications were treated most
often at a level incompatible with their usage in business applications.
From an architecture perspective, the leaders of the
developer community were and are encouraging a conservative status quo
of the application model at a time where it is critical to
harness the possibilities of connected systems and change fundamentally
the economics of software development
Things are changing and some companies are now developing
advanced "business infrastructure software". I have joined one of them
and I am truly in owe at and fully aligned with what I see.
