Breaking News - Jingle Bell Run, 2008 Jingle Bell Run, December 7, 2008 The Annual Jingle Bell Run is sponsored by the Comox Valley Road Runners and is a family fun run that benefits the local food bank. Entry is $5 plus one non-perishable item for the local food bank. All cash and food go directly to the food bank.
The Jingle Bell Run is a fun run runners and walkers at all levels. It is a poker run, with participants getting a playing card at 5 different locations. At the end of the run any two participants make the best hand with the cards they received. The best hand wins a prize.
Coffee, hot chocolate are available along with lots of draw prizes in a holiday atmosphere. Bring along your Christmas bells to ring through the trails. Place: Seal Bay park (Bates Road Entrance) Registration: Day of race 10:15 - 10:45 AM Entry fee: $5 and a nonperishable donation for the Food Bank.
