That would be silly. But the business corollary is hiring a consultant to grow your business that's never owned, operated or otherwise been wholly responsible for one. And that hiring takes place every day.
What do you think? Can someone that's never truly flown solo really understand what it's like to fly? Can a person that's never had to manage suppliers, partners, customers, shippers, employees, meet payroll or even manage the unthinkable�...debt collectors�...truly understand what it takes to grow a business?
