It was therefore decided to move to a new server. Meanwhile, policies evolved stipulating that servers would be renamed. The name of our new domain is "barney," and so this word now begins our new URL. We hope to soon have a note at the old URL which directs longstanding worldwide visitors to our new address. Why don't we choose a "cover" site, or another domain with a shorter address? Other, more commercially recognizable domains are often inaccessible during peak viewing hours, and may also be far slower to download to your PC. They also cost money .
