Our search engine uses technology that we built from scratch, replacing the link popularity contest that other search engines use.
You should be aware that we have made optimizing your website for every search engine more complicated because there are now two unique types of technology (ours and everyone else's link popularity system).
Sorry (we don't really feel too bad though), it wasn't going to be easy forever. Given that we have less traffic than everyone else combined we assume you want to get ranked in their results more than ours.
But in case you change your mind here are some guidelines for website owners and search engine optimization specialists looking to rank well in our results.
By the way, isn't it weird that all these other companies spend hundreds and millions of dollars on research and development and still all use a modified version of the same thing?
The SEO Golden Rule: "Make your page as accurately as possible all about the words/concepts/ideas you want it to be about".
This does not mean that you should stuff your title tag. If you do, we will probably block it for all eternity in the Fires of SEO Hades where only the way back machine might find it ;-)

The 10 Commandments of FyberSearch to the SEO People

1. We were joking about the heading text above. ha ha.
2. Don't title stuff.
3. Don't use a bunch of tactics to get ranked for keywords your site doesnt relate to. Just start a new website instead, it only costs about 20.00 a year for hosting and domain name.
4. Try not to load the site up with hundreds of kilobytes of text content, its just too much for one page. Try creating a new page, its free!
5. Don't use a computer program to automatically generate incoherent text. Write it yourself or figure out how to make a computer write text that is coherent and then shoot us an email :-)
6. Don't shove a ton of pictures, movies and songs onto one page so that it crashes anyone using a library computer or without enough money to buy a new one.
7. Don't make music start playing automatically when people visit your site. We know you love it but over 50% of your visitors don't, including us.
8. Can you try to tone down the infinitely long URLs/domain names with a bunch of dashes and underscores to make sure your site shows up under every word known to man?
9. We won't ban anyone not following some of these commandments but they seem like good ideas and a lot of them are factored into our ranking system and spam filtering technology.
10. Thou shalt have no other engines above FyberSearch!!! jk....... kind of ;-)
