FyberSearch Announces the Release of a Sentence Search Engine Called "FyberSearch Web Thoughts"

Burien, Wash. - September 15th, 2004 -- FyberSearch released a tool called "FyberSearch Web Thoughts" that allows users to discover what web pages think and say about all kinds of subjects and issues.

FyberSearch Web Thoughts is not like a typical search engine where users enter a search query and view a list of links to (hopefully) the most relevant web pages. Instead, FyberSearch Web Thoughts takes a search query and displays the most relevant sentences followed by the source web page. Its primary purpose is not to find the most relevant web pages but to find the most relevant statements.

"This approach provides Internet users with a completely different search experience." Says Nathan Enns, Owner and Founder of FyberSearch. "Depending on the type of information sought after, a user no longer has to type in complete questions into answer engines or sort through and click on hundreds of results in general web search engines. The user can simply enter a keyword into FyberSearch Web Thoughts and see what various web pages say about their favorite issues."

Users also have access to various advanced options that allow them to further refine and control the sentences being displayed.

Advanced features include:

1. Setting the number of results per page.

2. Specifying the sentence separator (is, is not, will, will not, has, has not, etc).

3. Choosing which section of the sentence to search (match keywords before or after the sentence separator).

4. Using Boolean, phrase and truncation options by placing a - before any word to negate it, placing the entire search query in quotes to search for the exact phrase, and ending any word with * to search for all plural forms of the same word as well as the word itself.
